Bridge Sans 1.000 (11 October 2026)

Bridge Sans is a modified version of Sora 2.000 by Barnbrook Fonts and the Sora Project
Authors (https://github.com/sora-xor/sora-font), released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Sora has no Reserved Font Name, so the modified version carries its own name. The licence is in
OFL.txt and applies unchanged to Bridge Sans.

Changes from Sora 2.000:
- Renamed to Bridge Sans; six static weights (Light 300, Regular 400, Medium 500, SemiBold 600,
Bold 700, ExtraBold 800) instead of the variable font, so office programs and PDFs handle them.
- Figures are tabular (same width) by default, so amounts line up in tables, invoices and
receipts. Proportional figures are still there: turn on the "pnum" feature.
Kerning moves with the proportional figures, so tabular figures keep their fixed width.
- No outlines were redrawn in this version.

Planned for version 2 (with a type designer): square dots on i, j and the full stop, and the
letters Sora lacks for African languages (Hausa, Yoruba, Ewe, Twi: e.g. Ɓ ɗ ƙ ƴ ẹ ọ ṣ ɛ ɔ)
plus the currency signs ₦ ₵ ₹ ₺ ₱. Until then, type those in Inter.
